It's been a good one.  Let's see... to start off with Thursday (the unofficial weekend night that I've kept from college) I was fortunate enough to attend a party thrown by GQ magazine.  The client they were throwing this party for was the tourism board of Las Vegas... so everything was Vegas themed, including the models that were wearing next to nothing.  I felt 100% not cool enough to be there.  But, what the hell, the drinks were free and the people were good looking.  So after my 4th martini (which totally caught up to be the next day) the party was about to end and they had a drawing for a free trip to Vegas.  And... I... WON!!!!  I never won a damn thing in my life and now I've got a free 2 night's stay at any hotel I want in Vegas!  WTF!?!?!?  I'm still shaking.  I can't wait to figure out when I'll be going. 

So then came Friday.  Hangovers at work are BRUTAL (but in this case totally worth it).  Unfortunately, major projects came down so I had to stay late which meant I had to miss a fun trip to Milwaukee with daveqat, jimcyl, and bullethc.  I hear they had a great time and I'm sorry I missed it.  Next time I'll buy the first round!

Saturday was super productive, cleaning and paying bils and shopping and such before the partying continued.  First a co-worker's beer pong tournament and then an old buddy's birthday.  Plus my best bud in the world was in town with his fiance!  A few drinks and hookah drags later it was 3:30 in the AM and we all passed out. 

Sunday kicked off with us all having brunch at Twist, a little tapas restaurant by my apartment.  Good food but I think I drank too much coffee.  I wasn't feeling quite right all day.  Luckily I felt way better once afternoon yoga was over.  I'm sore but feeling great that I'm back into it. 

And... that's it!  Time to watch the Oscars and get to bed.  Hope everyone out there had a stellar weekend too!
